Fun things to do in Albuquerque

The New Mexico State Fair is so much more than an annual event.
For a few short weeks, it brings together some of the best entertainment and events New Mexico has to offer. As the summer season cools down, the days and nights are perfect for spending time at the fair.  The 2010 New Mexico State Fair runs from Friday, September 10 through Sunday the 26. This year, the fair will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.   So the fair will not be open on September 13, 14, 20 and 21.
For more information about events and entertainment visit their website at exponm.com

Tingley Beach features three fishing lakes, a model boating pond and a train station with gift shop and food service. During the summer only, Tingley visitors can rent pedal boats and bicycles. There are also free fishing clinics at the Central pond every month from April through November.

Tingley Beach is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the year and is free to the public. The facility cannot be reserved. Tingley Beach is a facility of the ABQ BioPark, which is a division of the City of Albuquerque's Cultural Services Department.

There are many exciting bicycle opportunities in Open Space lands.  Bike trails range from easy to difficult, and can be found in varying environments and altitudes.
A less challenging and beautiful ride can be found in the Albuquerque Bosque.
The trail, called the Paseo del Bosque, is accessible from Alameda and Rio Bravo open spaces, and several points between the two areas.  There is parking accessibility at both facilities, and the ride is approximately 15 miles one way.

PNM Power Saver Program Details

Many of you have had questions about the PNM Power Saver Program.  We've highlighted a few items of interest that may better help you when making the decision to enroll or decline the program, provided and monitored by PNM.

PNM Power Saver program only operates on a few selected weekdays between the hours of 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. , from June through September.  It is not activated on holidays or weekends.

A device has been installed on all of our A/C units, it is up to you whether or not you want to participate in the program.  If you become dissatisfied, you can leave the PNM Power Saver program at not cost, upon your request.

PNM Power Saver program puts your refrigerated air conditioning unit into a conservation mode during the hottest summer days to help reduce the demand for electricity.

Pets

We are pleased to be one of the few apartment communities that will allow a pet.
Unfortunately, our pet population at The Enclave has reached it's capacity.
Until further notice, no NEW pets permits will be issued for dogs.
Cats will be welcomed at our community.

Parking TIPS

There are some very simple ideas and tips to follow when parking at The Enclave, that can make parking your vehicle easier for you and the residents around you.

Assigned Parking- We do have available assigned covered parking and garages spaces.  The covered parking and garages are marked with numbers and these are assigned to residents who pay for these reserved spaces.  You should avoid parking in these spaces at all costs. Even if you notice that no one ever seems to park in space "1114", you should park in your assigned spot or available open parking. Parking in the wrong assigned spot can cause a domino effect of residents parking or the assigned resident might even call to have you towed. So pay attention and park in the general open spaces...not the assigned ones.

Slow it Down- The speed bumps that are found throughout the parking lot aren't made to be jumps. The speed bumps are their to slow you down. Remember that there are often children, animals, adults, and other cars can dart out into the drive or around the corner. If you are going to fast, you might not have time to react and can cause a really bad accident or worse. So, please, slow it down.

No Double Parking- I assure you that parking your car at an angle and taking up more than one spot will do you more harm than good. This action is more likely to anger other residents who can't find a space, which can end in your car being towed.

Enjoy the convenience of parking your car or in one of reserved parking spaces or garages.  Call our leasing office at 237-9646 for more information.

If every single resident and guest were to follow these very easy and respectful rules when parking at the community, parking would be a simple and headache free.
